The Role

We have immediate openings for experienced Franna Operators. In this role, you will be integral to the project's success by operating versatile mobile cranes to lift and move a variety of heavy loads.

You will be responsible for safely operating Franna cranes to support various tasks within a dynamic construction environment. Your expertise will be essential for lifting and moving materials like steel, concrete, and heavy equipment. The position will involve complex operations, including dual crane lifts, where two cranes work in tandem to move a single, heavy load, requiring meticulous coordination with riggers and dogmen.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate Franna cranes for lifting, moving, and positioning heavy loads.

Conduct daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance on the crane.

Work closely with dogmen to ensure correct rigging and slinging techniques are used.

Coordinate and execute complex manoeuvres, including dual crane lifts.

Maintain a high standard of safety and situational awareness on site at all times.

Adhere to all site safety plans, procedures, and OH&S regulations.

Skills & Experience - Must Haves:

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following:

Full and unrestricted working rights in Australia.

A current High Risk Work Licence – CN (Non-Slewing Mobile Crane).

A valid Driver's Licence.

A valid White Card (General Construction Induction Card).

Proven experience operating Franna cranes in a construction or industrial setting.

A strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Experience in dual crane lifts will be highly regarded.
